Welcome to SouthMarke -- the home of uptown and upscale shopping i
n beautiful Blowing Rock, North Carolina. SouthMarke is one of the most photographed locations in Blowing Rock and often featured in regional and national magazines, including Southern Living and US Airways magazines. The unique Victorian architecture of SouthMarke has been captured by famed artist Teresa Pennington. Our year round stores and seasonal pavilions are filled with unique specialty merchandise. Our gardens and numerous outdoor benches allow for a relaxing shopping experience for all. We are located on Main Street, directly across from Glidewell's Restaurant and next to St. Mary of the Hills Episcopal Church.

Your Visit to Blowing Rock
A visit to Blowing Rock is a treat in Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. Whether it is simply the relaxing village atmosphere, the unique shops, the mountains, the skiing, the hiking trails, the arts, or the beautiful family-friendly downtown park, your visit to Blowing Rock is guaranteed to be a rewarding experience. While skiing rules in the winter (late November through mid-March), the warm weather provides a variety of special activities: Art in the Park, relaxing walks around town and the more challenging hiking at the Glen Burney Trail (within the village next to the Annie Cannon Gardens) and the four mile Bass Lake/Maze Trail located at the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park, just a hop, skip and jump outside the village limits.
